Hi! My name is Amy Pettigrew and I am the Director here at KidSpace Childcare! I have a degree in sociology from Southern Nazarene University and have worked in childcare for 19 years. I am a mom of 4 and when I began having children I struggled with who to trust the care of my children to. So I decided to open an in home childcare. I directed and owned A Mother’s Touch childcare for 16 years. I loved being able to help other parents by offering a safe and loving place for childcare. For 3 years I worked for the state of Arkansas in child care licensing. I have enjoyed monitoring and viewing all the daycares in our area. Being in childcare licensing gave me a lot of ideas for what works and doesn’t work in childcare. I’m excited to be the director of KidSpace, and I look forward to providing quality childcare to your children in a loving Christian environment.

KidSpace Childcare is a ministry of First Assembly of God in Van Buren, AR.

KidSpace Childcare was organized & developed to provide a loving, supportive, safe and educational environment for families who need infant, toddler, pre-school and school-age care for their children.

It is our goal to provide a loving and secure environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually in a Bible-based program run by a dedicated, professional staff. It is also our mission for each child to know that they are loved by God.

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness. We are raising a generation of Christ followers. We strive to provide a high quality program that stresses excellence allowing each child to develop their individual gifts and discover who God has created them to be.
